Natasha + Rosie – Class of 2024, Gardiner Area High School Senior year is a time filled with anticipation and excitement as young adults prepare to enter on a new chapter in their lives. It’s a period of reflection, personal growth, and an ideal opportunity to capture the unique individuals they’ve become. Natasha was the last senior I had the privilege to photograph this season, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled that she decided to bring “Miss Silver Target,” affectionately known as “Rosie,” along for the session. This photoshoot was more than just a chance to document a significant milestone in Natasha’s life; it was a beautiful celebration of the sweet bond she shares with her 18-year-old quarter horse. Having known Natasha for a few years and met Rosie when she first became a part of her life, I’ve witnessed the unbreakable connection they’ve formed. Through the ups and downs, Rosie has been a constant source of comfort and happiness for Natasha. It was evident that Natasha’s smile grew a little bit bigger with Rosie by her side for her portraits. Here are just a few of Natasha’s favorite shots from the session, selected with input from her parents after our viewing together this evening. I particularly love the one that captures the “behind the scenes” moment with her mom helping her and Rosie through the water (and yes, we made sure Natasha wore her boots for safety!)
